About the role

The Executive Director of Catholic Education Western Australia invites applications for the Principalship of St Joseph’s School, Boulder, commencing 1 January 2027 (or negotiable). The school is a faith‑filled primary community serving children from three‑year‑old Pre‑Kindergarten to Year Six in the Goldfields region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and nurture the Catholic and Josephite identity of the school, fostering vibrant faith practice and community partnerships.
• Drive high‑quality teaching and learning through evidence‑informed pedagogy, curriculum development and continuous improvement.
• Build collaborative relationships with students, staff, families, parish, First Nations Elders and the wider community.
• Oversee stewardship of resources, facilities, finances and school operations, advocating for sustainable growth.

Required profile

• Practising Catholic and experienced educator committed to Catholic education.
• Accredited for Leadership of a Catholic School Community or equivalent.
• Relevant Master’s degree (or working towards completion) and current Teacher Registration for Western Australia.
• Current Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain one).
