Principal IRAP Assessor / Cyber Security Specialist

About the role

Centorrino Technologies is seeking a Principal IRAP Assessor/Cyber Security Specialist to provide expert guidance, assessments and training development for a national cyber security framework. The role supports organisations in meeting policy and security obligations through high‑quality assessments, courses and advisory services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement cyber security assessment processes aligned with national guidance.
• Design and deliver cyber security training courses, micro‑credentials and learning materials.
• Support consultative forums, change management and communications with government stakeholders.
• Align training and assessment programs with existing frameworks, including Whole of Government cyber maturity and risk intelligence.
• Maintain training labs, communication materials and cyber toolkits.
• Provide advice on cyber security initiatives, policies, system certification and compliance.
• Conduct quality assurance of assessment reports, training materials and other artefacts.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years delivering complex cyber security policy, guidance, training or assessments for national‑level organisations.
• At least 2 years experience in ICT security assessments.
• Understanding of IRAP Assessor role and relevant security policies/frameworks.
• Proven ability to deliver assessment, advisory, training development and quality assurance.
• High integrity and professionalism in sensitive, high‑security environments.
• Active security clearance (NV1 or equivalent) and ability to travel as required.
