About the role

Join the Clinical Services team at Beaudesert Hospital to deliver high‑quality medical care across a range of rural health services. Working under the guidance of Rural Generalist staff, you will provide patient assessment, emergency treatment and support junior colleagues while advancing your professional development.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive medical care including diagnosis, treatment planning and emergency management.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care coordination, referrals, handovers and discharge planning.
• Support junior medical staff and students, fostering a positive learning environment.
• Engage in continuous learning, clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Medical degree with current registration on the Medical Board of Australia.
• Strong clinical assessment, decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication with patients, carers and multidisciplinary professionals.
• Professionalism, adaptability, time‑management and commitment to continuous learning.
