Principal Customer Success Consultant

About the role

Compass Education is seeking a Principal Customer Success Consultant to deliver a white‑glove experience for its most strategic private‑school clients. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior school leaders, driving product adoption, outcomes and long‑term partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end consulting for a portfolio of high‑value private schools, building trusted relationships with principals, business managers and executive teams.
• Lead complex implementations, transitions and product expansions across the Compass platform, delivering tailored training, rollout plans and success workshops.
• Maintain deep product knowledge, identify upsell opportunities with sales, and represent key‑account feedback to influence product and service improvements.
• Mentor and coach Customer Success team members, contribute to best‑practice frameworks and act as an escalation point for sensitive client matters.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior consultant or equivalent in a client‑facing, implementation or advisory role.
• Demonstrated success managing complex, high‑value clients with senior stakeholders.
• Strong facilitation, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Commercial acumen, growth mindset and resilience in a premium‑service environment.

Required skills

• Genuine AI fluency demonstrated in day‑to‑day work.
• Ability to use AI tools to synthesize client feedback and support solution design.
