Practicing Solicitor - Director of Legal Services

About the role

A well-established Professional Services Business based in the Newcastle CBD is expanding to include Legal Services and is seeking a qualified and experienced solicitor to become Director of its new Legal Firm. The position is full-time, based in Newcastle, and is advertised by Accountable Recruitment Solutions on behalf of the client. The application deadline is 1 December 2023.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert legal advice and services across a range of matters.
• Build and lead a dedicated legal team.
• Collaborate closely with the client's team to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for the Legal Services division.
• Manage client relationships and oversee the growth and development of the firm.
• Stay up to date with relevant legal developments and regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 to 4 years of post-admission experience in legal practice.
• Qualification as a solicitor with a valid Practice Legal Certificate.
• Expertise in areas relevant to professional services, such as estate and wills, commercial and property law, or related fields.
• Strong legal research, communication and leadership skills.
• Client-focused approach with a dedication to delivering exceptional service.

What we offer

• Salary of $90,000 to $120,000 per annum.
