PR Assistant / Associate / Generalist (Social & Content) - 12 Month Contract

About the role

A global, creatively-led PR agency, recruiting through Agency Iceberg, is looking for a SAD or GAD-level talent with expertise in PR, leadership, content and social strategy for a 12-month contract. The agency works mainly with clients in the consumer, travel and tech space and offers a flexible or fully remote model. The salary range of $140k-$150k is a guide only.

Key responsibilities

• Work with and support the executive leadership team (digital and PR).
• Develop and implement integrated PR communications, including earner-first creative and PR strategies, social media, content and digital marketing strategies.
• Act as the day-to-day contact for key clients and stakeholders.
• Bring to life proactive ideas and new digital strategies, and drive national media relations.
• Brainstorm new ideas with the wider team and deliver creative solutions for clients.
• Keep campaigns on schedule, on budget and hitting assigned KPIs.
• Track planning, strategy and allocations with the leadership team.
• Assist in organic and new business development and work on global brands.

Required profile

• Live in Melbourne and hold full working rights.
• Previous experience in a PR agency role is required.
• Experience with fitness, lifestyle, retail, luxury or tourism clients is ideal.
• A tertiary degree in communications, marketing or public relations is desirable.
• Excellent knowledge of the Australian PR landscape is required.
