Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner

About the role

Join Better Rehab’s rapidly expanding Positive Behaviour Support team to deliver person‑centred interventions for NDIS participants across Australia. You will work independently or as part of multidisciplinary teams in homes, schools or via Telehealth.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments to identify root causes of challenging behaviours.
• Develop and implement tailored Behaviour Support Plans focused on individual goals.
• Create strategies to reduce restrictive practices and improve communication.
• Provide specialised support for paediatric participants to foster skill development.

Required profile

• Passionate about trauma‑informed, family‑centred and systemic approaches to care.
• Committed to ongoing learning, reflection and professional growth.

Required skills

• Experience with functional behaviour assessment and support planning.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary health teams.
