General Practitioner in Campbell Town, Tasmania with $25k Relocation Incentive

About the role

We are seeking a qualified General Practitioner to deliver primary care and emergency services in the historic town of Campbell Town, Tasmania. The role is based alongside the Community Health Centre and local hospital, offering a broad range of clinical duties in a supportive rural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide general family medical care, including women’s and men’s health.
• Deliver occupational medicine, travel advice and vaccinations.
• Conduct antenatal checks, childhood vaccinations and workers’ compensation assessments.
• Perform emergency care and acute patient management at the hospital.
• Undertake home visits to patients throughout the surrounding district.

Required profile

• Qualified GP with MRCGP (UK), MICGP (Ireland) or FRNZGP (New Zealand) registration.
• Current emergency medicine experience.
• Eligibility for AHPRA expedited pathway or FACRRM/FRACGP registration.
• Willingness to relocate to an eligible rural location.
