Plumbing Trainer (VIC)

About the role

Master Plumbers is one of Victoria's leading trade associations, delivering apprentice and post-trade training at its educational facilities in Brunswick and Geelong, with expansion to Narre Warren in 2020. Due to increased demand, it is looking for experienced plumbing trainers to join its small, enthusiastic team based in Brunswick. The role suits a professional trainer who wants to work closely with apprentices and registered plumbers.

Required profile

• Experienced vocational trainer holding a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or an equivalent, or a Diploma of Vocational Education and Training; trainers with a Certificate IV are encouraged to complete a Diploma within 24 months after the six-month probation period.
• Demonstrated experience developing, delivering, reviewing and maintaining assessment and plumbing training resources in a vocational training environment.
• A registered and/or licensed plumber with current industry experience and vocational skills, including environmental plumbing techniques.
• Passionate about industry and pre-apprentice/apprentice training, and enjoys working collaboratively within the training team.
