Planning & Procurement Coordinator – Operations

About the role

We are seeking an organised and proactive Planning & Procurement Coordinator to join the Operations team at Riviana Foods in Heidelberg. In this site‑based position you will ensure smooth production by coordinating schedules, managing inventory and securing the materials needed to meet demand.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain weekly production schedules.
• Forecast raw material and packaging requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels and keep accurate stock records.
• Coordinate with warehouse and production teams to meet targets.
• Conduct stocktakes, manage stock expiry and resolve inventory variances.
• Support supplier coordination and address delivery issues.
• Identify supply risks and implement mitigation solutions.
• Analyse data to improve planning and inventory outcomes.

Required profile

• Previous experience in planning, scheduling or supply‑chain within manufacturing or FMCG.
• Experience with short‑shelf‑life products is highly regarded.
• Strong organisational, time‑management and problem‑solving abilities.
• Confident communicator able to work across multiple teams.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• SAP or MRP systems.
