Compressor Service Technician

About the role

The Compressor Service Technician will work on‑site in the Greater Perth Area, providing maintenance, diagnostics and repairs for stationary and fixed‑plant air compressors. This full‑time position supports both customer sites and the company workshop, ensuring reliable and safe compressed‑air operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic assessments and troubleshoot compressor issues.
• Carry out routine and preventative maintenance on stationary and fixed‑plant compressors.
• Install and replace compressor spare parts, accessories and air‑filtration components.
• Document service activities, complete inspection reports and communicate findings to supervisors and customers.
• Adhere to safety procedures, risk assessments and relevant regulations.
• Travel to customer sites within the region and occasionally work after‑hours as required.

Required profile

• Strong mechanical aptitude with experience on industrial machinery, preferably air compressors.
• Relevant trade qualification (e.g., Mechanical Fitter, Industrial Maintenance) or equivalent technical service experience.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel within the Greater Perth Area.
• Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently and adapt to changing service priorities.

• Reading technical drawings, manuals and schematics.
