Planning Manager

About the role

Linfox is seeking an experienced Planning Manager to join the Consumer and Healthcare Group in Huntingwood, supporting national road and rail transport operations across NSW and QLD.

Key responsibilities

• Lead national road and rail planning, ensuring efficient scheduling, load planning and network performance.
• Partner with customers and stakeholders to meet service and operational KPI targets.
• Monitor delivery performance, analyse trends and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility, transport regulations, safety and load planning standards.
• Oversee freight administration, billing reconciliation, SAP data integrity and operational reporting.
• Coach and support planning personnel, fostering collaboration across transport, warehouse, customer and planning teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in transport, logistics, supply chain planning or operational management.
• Strong capability in transport planning, scheduling, resource allocation and network optimisation.
• Demonstrated ability to manage customer and stakeholder relationships while delivering against KPIs.
• Leadership experience with coaching and developing planning or operational teams.
• Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility, transport compliance and safety requirements.
