Planner/Scheduler – Real Estate Projects

About the role

Turner & Townsend is hiring a Planner/Scheduler in Adelaide to provide scheduling services across diverse real estate projects. The role covers pre-baseline reviews, progress reporting, delay analysis and coordination with clients and contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Provide scheduling services across diverse real estate projects.
• Conduct pre-baseline reviews of contractor programmes to check adherence to contractual requirements and industry-standard scheduling practices.
• Prepare progress update reports and highlight key schedule risks and opportunities for clients.
• Recommend corrective action and create acceleration programmes in case of major delays.
• Conduct delay analysis and assist the Senior Scheduler in delay claims management.
• Arrange meetings with client-side stakeholders to understand their inputs and deliverables, and create an Integrated Master Works Programme linked to the Main Contractor's programme.
• Advise clients on the most efficient timelines for multi-staged complex construction projects.

Required profile

• Tertiary degree in Engineering, Construction, Building or Project Management.
• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Scheduler/Planner on building projects; on-site construction experience preferred.
• Preferably large-scale real estate project experience (hospitals, retail, commercial, hotels, high-rise, universities, residential).
• Valid working rights in Australia.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of end-to-end construction and project processes.
• Proficiency in P6 (Primavera) and MS Project.
• Knowledge of Asta or other programming software is advantageous.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
