Physiotherapist – Senior Role in Port Macquarie

About the role

The Cerebral Palsy Alliance is seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join its multidisciplinary team in Port Macquarie. You will work with a diverse caseload, primarily children and young people with cerebral palsy, providing both clinic‑based and community‑based therapy.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver physiotherapy interventions to clients in the clinic and in home or community settings across a regional outreach model.
• Mentor and support junior therapists and other members of the therapy team.
• Manage a caseload that includes over 70% of clients aged 0‑18 with complex disabilities.
• Travel to regional hubs such as Wauchope, Taree, Forster, Kempsey and Coffs Harbour as required.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Physiotherapy.
• Current AHPRA registration.
• Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle.
• Ability to work full‑time in an onsite, regional setting.

Required skills

• Experience working with cerebral palsy or similar neurological conditions.
• Proficiency using specialised equipment such as ceiling hoists, eye‑gaze technology, magic carpet and wheelchair scales.
