Physiotherapist - Permanent Part-Time (1 Day Per Week)

About the role

Aegis Shoalwater, part of the Aegis Aged Care Group, which has provided care services to Western Australians for 40 years, is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physiotherapist for a permanent part-time position of one day per week (Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday). The role supports residents in maximising their independence, wellbeing and quality of life.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, monitor and recommend on falls prevention, trending, analysis, management and post-fall review
• Musculoskeletal assessment and management, and evidence-based pain management (acute and chronic)
• Mobility, exercise prescription (Physitrack subscription available), functional retraining and rehabilitation, equipment provision
• Health promotion and education on cardiovascular and respiratory rehabilitation, continence, bowel and pelvic health, positioning, oedema management
• Manual handling and transfers, advocacy for residents, training and education, quality monitoring and continuous improvement

Required profile

• Genuine interest in working with older people and passion for enablement and rehabilitation
• Customer service focus, strong attention to detail and solution-focused problem solving
• Appetite for innovation and continuous improvement
• Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills; able to work independently and in a team
• New graduates or experienced clinicians are welcome

Required skills

• Physiotherapy qualification and current AHPRA registration
• Full Australian working rights and ability to obtain a National Police Clearance
• Current Australian driver's licence
