General Practitioner (VR) - Private Billing Centre

About the role

A boutique private billing centre in the Inner West of Sydney is looking for a General Practitioner with Vocational Registration (VR). The practice has been established for over 10 years, offers private billing with consultation fees of $90 per consult, and is open Monday to Friday 8am-6pm and Saturday 8am-4pm.

Key responsibilities

• Provide general practice consultations to patients
• Work within a predominantly billing practice with high consultation fees
• Join a well-established centre in the Inner West of Sydney
• Optionally train registrars (not a must)
• Possibly cover weekend shifts; preference for a part-time doctor, with scope to pick up weekday shifts if a room is free

Required profile

• Vocational registration (FRACGP, FACRRM or equivalent)
• No restrictions in terms of DPA
• Willingness to work Saturday 8am-4pm and potentially Sunday shifts

What we offer

• Remuneration of 70% of billings or $150 per hour for the first 3 months
• High consultation fees of $90 per consult
• Full-time nursing support and in-house CPD
• Ability to specialise in areas such as skin, occupational health or mental health
• Access to allied health services including dietitian, psychology and counselling
