Physical & Functional Configuration Auditor

About the role

The Physical & Functional Configuration Auditor (PCA/FCA) supports the Capability Life Cycle Manager team on the ACS CLCM program, ensuring configuration data integrity and compliance for Navy maritime assets.

Key responsibilities

• Execute day‑to‑day activities in line with the Configuration Management & Audit Plan, liaising with engineering, ship leads and waterfront engineers.
• Conduct Physical and Functional Configuration Audits, manage configuration status accounting, and support external audit responses and corrective actions.
• Apply configuration management techniques, make change decisions, and represent the team on Configuration Control Boards.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of engineering experience, preferably in the defence industry.
• Eligibility for ITAR clearance and an active Baseline Defence Security Clearance.
• Experience with CMT‑U, AMPS, stock control and planned maintenance (SCPM).
