Pharmacist Team Leader

About the role

Darling Downs Health is looking for a Pharmacist Team Leader to lead a high-performing pharmacy team at Toowoomba Hospital and help shape safe, contemporary medication services across Darling Downs Health. The role combines advanced clinical expertise with people leadership, mentoring and service improvement, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team to deliver high-quality clinical pharmacy services that support safe and effective patient care.
• Provide expert medication management advice and partner with clinicians to solve complex patient care challenges.
• Drive service improvements, quality initiatives and practice enhancements that strengthen outcomes and efficiency.
• Coach, mentor and develop pharmacists, assistants and learners to build capability across the service.

Required profile

• Registration as a Pharmacist with AHPRA and relevant tertiary qualifications.
• Advanced clinical pharmacy experience with strong knowledge of contemporary medication management practices.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor and develop teams while fostering a positive, collaborative culture.
• Highly developed communication, consultation and stakeholder engagement skills.
