About the role
This full‑time, 12‑month fixed‑term position is based at Northern Beaches Hospital in Sydney. Reporting to the Deputy Director of Pharmacy, you will lead the clinical pharmacy team, ensure high‑quality pharmacy services, and support the transition of the hospital to a public facility.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate clinical training and support for pharmacists.
- Liaise with the Deputy Director of Pharmacy and other Team Leads to review the weekly clinical pharmacist roster.
- Organise and contribute to the weekly continuing‑education roster for clinical pharmacists.
- Co‑ordinate JMO and Registrar orientation each term, alternating with other Team Leads.
- Develop pharmacy policies and procedures.
- Undertake additional tasks delegated by the Deputy Director of Pharmacy or Director of Pharmacy.
Required profile
- Current registration with the Pharmacy Board of NSW.
- Demonstrated management and leadership experience within a hospital pharmacy setting.
- Evidence of prior mentoring or clinical teaching.
- Proven ability to work in interdisciplinary teams and influence physician groups on policy and practice.
- Strong time‑management, communication and teamwork abilities.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a diverse clinical environment.
Required skills
- Experience with the Epic electronic health record system.
