Personal Care Worker – Wonthaggi, Inverloch & Korumburra

About the role

A permanent part-time Personal Care Worker is needed to support older people across Wonthaggi, Inverloch, Korumburra and surrounding Bass Coast/South Gippsland communities. The Personal Care Workers provide one-on-one care so older Victorians can live comfortably in their own homes, helping them stay connected and feel supported through daily activities, personal care and community engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities according to their needs and choices
• Work one-on-one with clients in their homes to help them live their best lives and maintain relationships
• Assist clients with personal care or domestic duties in their homes
• Help clients stay connected to their communities through the activities they enjoy

Required profile

• Completed Cert III or higher in Individual Support, Community Services or Disability, or a related qualification, or first-year nursing studies completed
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Respect for all people, regardless of background, gender, age, religion, race or sexual orientation
• Your own vehicle, current driver's licence and car insurance, to drive between clients' homes and drive clients as required
• Willingness to travel between clients, sometimes up to four clients per day and up to 10-30 minutes between them
• NDIS clearance, First Aid and CPR certificate, or ability to obtain them
