Personal Care Worker - Shepparton & Goulburn Valley

About the role

A not-for-profit aged care provider is looking for a Personal Care Worker to join its team in the Shepparton and Goulburn Valley region. Personal Care Workers provide one-on-one care to help older Victorians live comfortably in their own homes, supporting them to stay connected and feel supported through daily activities, personal care and community engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities according to their needs and choices
• Work one-on-one with clients in their homes so they can live their best lives and maintain relationships
• Help clients with domestic duties in their homes
• Support clients to stay connected to their communities through the activities they enjoy

Required profile

• Genuine passion for caring and ability to build rapport with clients
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Respect for all people, regardless of background, gender, age, religion, race or sexual orientation
• Own vehicle, current driver's licence and car insurance to drive between clients' homes and drive clients as required
• Willingness to travel between clients, sometimes up to four clients per day and up to 30 minutes between them
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain it)
