Personal Care Assistant - Aged Care

About the role

Estia Health is looking for a Personal Care Assistant for its Ironbark home in Victoria Heights. The role supports residents' daily lives, health and wellbeing within a team of aged care staff. Applications must be made through the online application form; emailed applications are not accepted.

Key responsibilities

• Lend a hand with daily life so residents feel heard, comfortable and well fed
• Support residents with challenging needs alongside the team
• Help keep residents' bodies and minds active
• Help monitor residents' health and assist with treatments
• Act as a friend to residents and respect everyone's privacy and dignity

Required profile

• A real desire to make a difference in people's lives
• Certificate III or IV in Aged Care
• Experience working as a caregiver or similar
• Ability to work on a part-time or casual basis

Required skills

• Solid clinical documentation skills
• Computer skills
• Team player and great communicator
