Performance and Forecasting Planner

About the role

The Performance and Forecasting Planner is part of Service Stream's Operational Support Services, coordinating the operational performance and success of the Performance and Forecasting group and the general customer experience. It is a permanent full-time position based in Melbourne, VIC, reporting to the Senior Planner.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule the workforce according to client forecasts in the relevant database, ensuring workers have the required compliance documents.
• Analyse historical data, business trends and operational requirements to develop accurate workforce demand forecasts.
• Assess the current SSL contract and technicians' skills and capabilities, identify gaps between current and future needs and develop strategies to close them.
• Onboard new technicians, recommend sourcing strategies and help retain top sub-contractors.
• Collect and analyse workforce data, metrics and trends to generate insights and support decisions.
• Monitor workforce performance and recommend improvements, collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Improve forecasting accuracy, performance metrics and reporting processes, using best practice and advanced analytical tools.

Required profile

• Experience planning and scheduling in a fast-paced workforce environment is essential.
• Experience implementing process improvement is required.
• Experience working with various regulatory authorities is required.

Required skills

• Complex forecast and resource modelling is preferred.
• Power BI reporting is preferred.
