Performance Analyst

About the role

CitiPower and Powercor deliver electricity to 1.3 million Victorian customers and are looking for a proactive, motivated Performance Analyst to help improve operational performance through data and insight. The role is full-time and permanent, based at the Melbourne CBD head office, reporting to the Program Integration & Delivery Performance Manager and working with a team of Performance Analysts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and manage operational reports, dashboards, KPIs and data models across the business
• Work with analysts, group sponsors and report owners to identify reporting needs and deliver actionable insights
• Contribute to reporting roadmaps and prioritise delivery in line with business priorities
• Analyse complex data to find trends, risks, opportunities and performance improvements
• Create forecasting models, scenario analysis and performance reports
• Maintain data accuracy, governance, testing, documentation and reporting standards
• Train users, support report adoption and work with IT to improve reporting solutions

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Statistics or a related discipline (desirable)
• Experience in performance reporting, business intelligence, analytics or operational analysis
• Proven experience developing KPIs, dashboards, forecasting models and management reports
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Stakeholder engagement, communication and workshop facilitation skills

Required skills

• Advanced skills in Tableau and Excel
• Other reporting and BI tools
• ERP systems such as SAP
