People Support Centre Lead

About the role

Centurion, a logistics company founded in 1971 with 34 branches across Western Australia, Queensland, the Northern Territory, South Australia and Victoria, is looking for a People Support Centre Lead in Hazelmere. You will manage and continuously improve HR shared services, leading the People Support Centre (PSC) team to deliver accurate, consistent service to employees and managers while partnering with the People & Capability team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the PSC team to deliver high-quality, timely and professional HR support.
• Set performance standards, monitor workloads and ensure service levels are met.
• Oversee onboarding, offboarding, employment contracts, lifecycle changes and HR data management.
• Monitor performance metrics, review reports such as onboarding metrics and compliance checks, and share insights with HR planning.
• Drive process improvements, optimise HR tools and workflows, and champion HRIS, data integrity and digital solutions.
• Mentor team members and maintain up-to-date process documentation aligned with HR frameworks.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships to resolve issues and identify trends.

Required profile

• Significant experience in HR shared services or operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Demonstrated experience in process improvement and HR service delivery in a medium to large organisation.
• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field highly regarded.
• Proven leadership, coaching and stakeholder engagement skills, with strong analytical and problem-solving ability.

Required skills

• Proficiency in HRIS, ticketing systems and reporting tools.
• Deep understanding of HR processes, shared services operations and employee lifecycle administration.
