IEA Employment Consultant - Springvale

About the role

APM is recruiting an Employment Consultant for its Springvale, VIC site within the Inclusive Employment Australia Program. The role supports people with disability to find and keep sustainable employment, helping them identify their employment match and build confidence in their new jobs.

Key responsibilities

• Support participants with disability to prepare for, find and maintain sustainable employment
• Help participants see their strengths, overcome obstacles and take on their new employment with renewed purpose
• Provide creative solutions to employment challenges and ensure each participant has the tools and support they need
• Advocate for inclusive hiring practices and workplace adjustments
• Build partnerships with companies committed to diversity and inclusion

Required profile

• Eligibility to work in Australia
• Current driver's licence and a fully insured vehicle
• A MyGovID (standard level)
• Willingness to complete a National Police Check and pass a Working with Children Check
• Availability to work full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm
• Experience in other fields such as sales, retail, call centres, hospitality, consulting, business development or administration is welcome
