People and Culture Manager

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic People and Culture Manager to own and develop the HR function for a multi‑brand resort in Darwin Airport. Reporting to the General Manager and leading a small P&C team, you will shape the resort’s culture, support department heads and ensure a high‑performing workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the resort’s People & Culture strategy, aligning with Accor’s global standards.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, retention and workforce planning across three hotels.
• Coach and develop the People & Culture Coordinator, building capability for day‑to‑day operations.
• Partner with senior leaders on organisational structure, resourcing and performance management.
• Manage employee and industrial relations matters, maintaining accurate documentation.
• Analyse employee engagement survey results and drive improvement initiatives.
• Deliver P&C programmes such as reward & recognition, wellbeing, talent management and leadership development.
• Ensure compliance training is completed, maintain training records and produce monthly P&C reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading HR functions in hospitality or a comparable multi‑site environment.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders.
• Excellent communication, coaching and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Demonstrated capability to develop and implement HR strategies and programmes.
