People and Culture Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a People and Culture Coordinator to join our HR team at Stride, a leading mental health service provider. The role will support the full employee lifecycle, ensuring smooth onboarding, compliance and HR system administration for our staff in Parramatta and beyond.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for HR queries from staff and external stakeholders, directing enquiries to the appropriate team member.
• Coordinate HR processes and ensure compliance with internal policies and legislative requirements.
• Manage online workflows, maintain HR data, generate reports and support HRIS and database administration.
• Assist with compliance reporting such as WGEA and AON, and oversee background and qualification checks for new hires.
• Collaborate with Recruitment, Learning & Development, IT, Payroll and Finance to deliver timely onboarding, system setup and payroll processing.
• Support work experience, student placements and contribute to audit and accreditation projects.

Required profile

• Certificate IV in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
• Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of HR best practices, compliance requirements and employee lifecycle processes.
