Payroll Implementation Consultant – Remote (Australia)

About the role

Employment Hero is looking for a Payroll Implementation Consultant to join its Customer Solutions team. You will be the primary contact for customers during payroll product roll‑outs, working remotely across Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Lead payroll implementation projects, collaborating with Project Managers, HR Implementation Consultants and Platform Configuration Specialists.
• Interpret Australian modern awards, enterprise agreements and other employment conditions for client setups.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis and recommend solutions within the product’s functionality.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction through clear, outcome‑driven communication.
• Ensure data accuracy across sales, support, project management and time‑tracking systems.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation (New Zealand a plus).
• Experience in customer‑facing payroll implementations or outsourced payroll.
• Ability to manage multiple client projects and meet critical deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail in a fast‑paced, autonomous environment.
