Pathology Collector – Casual (Ringwood, VIC)

About the role

We are looking for a casual Pathology Collector to join our team at the Ringwood collection centre in Victoria. The role is ideal for self‑motivated individuals who pay great attention to detail, communicate clearly and are committed to delivering excellent customer service. You will work across weekday and weekend shifts, supporting patients and healthcare professionals throughout the collection process.

Key responsibilities

• Collect blood and other clinical samples from patients according to standard procedures.
• Handle, store and process pathology specimens safely and accurately.
• Complete associated paperwork and clerical tasks to ensure records are correct and submitted on time.

Required profile

• Certificate III or IV in Pathology Collection, or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong customer‑service skills both face‑to‑face and over the phone.
• Excellent time‑management and the ability to work independently.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the collections team, doctors, patients and other stakeholders.
• Current driver’s licence and legal right to work in Australia.

Required skills

• Computer skills for data entry and record keeping.
• Proficiency with laboratory information systems.
