Part‑time Payroll Officer

About the role
Join the finance team at Novotel Brisbane South Bank on a part‑time basis, working two days a week to manage end‑to‑end payroll for hotel staff. You will report to the Hotel Financial Controller and collaborate closely with the People & Culture team.
Key responsibilities
- Process payroll accurately and on time for all hotel employees.
- Respond to payroll queries and provide information on compensation entitlements.
- Liaise with the People & Culture team to ensure compliance with award conditions.
Required profile
- Background in finance or related studies.
- Detail‑oriented with a passion for hospitality.
- Strong communication and time‑management abilities.
Required skills
- Advanced computer literacy, especially Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficiency with ReadyWorkforce payroll system.
- Prior experience in tourism or hospitality industry.
