Group Reservations Coordinator

About the role

Join the Sales & Marketing team at Novotel Brisbane South Bank as a Group Reservations Coordinator. This full‑time position is ideal for candidates with hotel front‑office or reservations experience looking to move into a sales‑focused career.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all group bookings end‑to‑end, including rooming lists, payments, cancellations and terms.
• Prepare group information sheets and brief hotel stakeholders before arrivals, maintaining accurate filing.
• Coordinate special requests, VIP and complimentary rooms with relevant departments.
• Monitor group inventory, produce business wash reports and forecasts for the Director of Sales & Marketing and Revenue Manager.
• Build and maintain relationships with PCOs, travel agents and commercial organisations to generate business.

Required profile

• Ability to work independently and respond effectively to change in a dynamic environment.
• Confident communication, negotiation and networking skills.
• Multicultural awareness and service‑oriented mindset with attention to detail.
• Strong personal organisation and priority‑management capabilities.
