Parts Interpreter - Automotive Dealership

About the role

A well-established multi-franchised new car dealership is looking for an experienced Parts Interpreter for its busy Moorebank operation. The role is predominantly back counter, supporting the workshop and service departments with accurate parts identification, ordering and supply. There is a small amount of retail counter work, but it is not heavily customer facing and there is no panel shop work.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with technicians, service advisors and the wider parts team to ensure the correct parts are supplied efficiently.
• Maintain accurate stock and order records across multiple vehicle franchises.
• Support the workshop and service departments with parts identification, ordering and supply.

Required profile

• Previous dealership Parts Interpreter experience is strongly preferred.
• Sound understanding of automotive parts catalogues, EPC systems and dealership parts processes.
• Accuracy, organisation and comfort in a busy workshop environment.
• Strong communication skills, good computer ability and ability to work as part of an established dealership team.
• Experience across multiple vehicle brands is highly regarded.

What we offer

• Salary of up to $80,000 plus super, depending on experience.
• 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday hours.
