Part-Time Sales Assistant - Motorcycles

About the role

AMX, the largest Australian motorcycle accessories retailer, is looking for a motivated part-time Sales Assistant for its Hervey Bay store. The position suits someone who loves motorcycles and wants to join a team within a global organisation. It is a part-time role, Monday to Friday, for a total of 30 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a safety focus for yourself, teammates and customers
• Contribute to the store's sales and KPIs
• Be a team player and show enthusiasm and commitment to customer service
• Give customers accurate, up-to-date information on products and services
• Maintain shop presentation and keep shelves stocked
• Clean and maintain showroom standards
• Show commitment and reliability to shifts; the role involves lifting, bending and climbing

Required profile

• Motorcycle enthusiast with some existing retail work experience
• Enjoys building relationships with customers and peers, and is proactive and driven
• Works well in a team, has a customer-first attitude and enjoys achieving targets
• Availability across a 7-day roster is an advantage
• Willingness to work over Christmas and New Year
