About the role
This part-time remote position provides first-line technical assistance to end-users, ensuring that hardware, software and network issues are resolved efficiently. The IT Support Officer will act as a key point of contact for desktop and printer support across the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and network incidents reported by users.
- Install, configure, upgrade and maintain desktop computers and related peripherals.
- Provide installation, configuration and troubleshooting for various printer models.
- Document incidents, solutions and maintain knowledge-base records.
- Communicate status and resolutions to users and stakeholders in a timely manner.
Required profile
- Proven experience in technical support and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with IT systems and infrastructure.
- Strong customer-service orientation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ or ITIL are a plus.
