Part-Time Recreation Attendant (Lifeguard)

About the role

Crown Perth is looking for part-time Recreation Attendants (lifeguards) to join its team during the Perth summer. This is a seasonal fixed-term position covering the Crown Towers Hotel Perth swimming pools, their reception areas and retail kiosk desks. You will provide joyful guest experiences while keeping guests safe around the leisure facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consistent lifeguard duties at the Crown Towers Hotel pool areas
• Keep guests safe at all times around the leisure facilities
• Provide a clean, tidy, safe and inviting environment for all guests
• Handle additional duties such as reception tasks, telephone inquiries and customer service support

Required profile

• Experience as a public pool or beach lifeguard (preferred)
• Availability between 6am and 9.30pm, including weekends, public holidays and a rotational roster
• Commitment to 32-64 hours per fortnight
• Flexibility to work regular weekends and public holidays
• Willingness to work outdoors in the constant Perth summer heat

Required skills

• RLSSWA Pool Lifeguard Qualification
• First Aid and Resuscitation qualification
• Current RSA certificate, or willingness to obtain one
