Part-Time Nanny for Toddler (Caringbah South)

About the role

A family in Caringbah South, NSW is looking for a warm, easy-going and experienced nanny to care for their active 16-month-old son. The role is part-time, three days per week, with a start date as soon as possible and flexible availability on the other two days between Tuesday and Friday. It is a long-term, ongoing position.

Key responsibilities

• Provide warm, attentive and engaging care, following the child's daily routine including meals, snacks and naps
• Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch and snacks
• Plan fun, age-appropriate activities and encourage outdoor play, exploration and social development
• Take the child to local parks, outings and activities
• Create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment
• Maintain open communication with the parents about the child's day and development
• Light household duties: tidying play areas, cleaning up after meals, children's laundry if required and keeping the child's belongings organised

Required profile

• Childcare qualifications
• 3+ years of previous experience caring for toddlers (essential)
• Current Working With Children Check
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate
• Full driver's licence, clean driving record and own vehicle; comfortable driving the child to outings
• Excellent references
• Comfortable with dogs, as the family has a friendly Cavoodle
