Part-Time Medical Receptionist

About the role

Lake Imaging, a diagnostic radiology and medical imaging provider founded in 2002 with 19 clinics across central and western Victoria, is looking for a part-time Medical Receptionist to work at its Warrnambool clinic. As the face of the organisation, you will deliver high standards of service to patients, referrers and the wider community.

Key responsibilities

• Answer calls as the friendly, professional voice for patients and referrers
• Schedule appointments using the RIS system Visage
• Manage appointments so that the clinic runs smoothly
• Action patient referrals from multi-disciplinary teams
• Communicate clearly with patients about preparation, cost estimates and other requirements

Required profile

• Experience in a customer-facing role is a plus
• Willingness to learn medical imaging terminology
• Advanced computer and keyboard skills
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service, show care and empathy, solve problems and manage time to meet team KPIs
• A positive, can-do attitude
