Part-Time Maintenance Officer

About the role

Estia Health Glen Waverley, an aged care home serving the east Melbourne community, is looking for an experienced Maintenance Officer to join its team on a permanent part-time basis. The role keeps the home well presented and supports residents with their maintenance needs.

The position is 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, preferably between 10 am and 2 pm, with flexible days.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the home to the highest standard through a collaborative, can-do approach
• Carry out a variety of tasks inside and outside the home
• Support residents with their maintenance requirements while getting to know them
• Coordinate the maintenance program and keep accurate records

Required profile

• Experience as a Maintenance Officer
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to coordinate the maintenance program
• Excellent record keeping
• General handy skills
