Part-Time Customer Service & Sales Consultant – Melbourne Flagship Store

About the role

Telstra is recruiting a Customer Service & Sales Consultant for its Melbourne Flagship Store. You will provide frontline support by helping customers choose products, activate services and troubleshoot basic issues, creating positive experiences through good communication and adherence to retail standards. The role suits someone already experienced in retail or someone wanting to build a career.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers with product selection and service activation
• Troubleshoot basic issues and guide customers to the products and solutions that suit their needs
• Deliver friendly, professional service in line with retail standards

Required profile

• Enjoys connecting with people and creating great experiences
• Curious, solution-minded and motivated by goals
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
• Previous customer service or retail experience is great but not essential

What we offer

• $33.33 per hour, plus applicable penalty rates (25% extra after 6 PM on weekdays, 25% on Saturdays, 100% on Sundays, 150% on public holidays)
