Part-Time Cook

About the role

Estia Health is looking for a part-time cook to help create a home that residents love, delivering service standards of the highest level through fresh and wholesome meals. The role works alongside the chef to support kitchen management and tailor meals to individual needs and preferences. Shifts are available during weeks 1 and 2, Monday and Tuesday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Key responsibilities

• Work alongside the chef to assist with kitchen management
• Tailor meals to meet individual needs and preferences
• Provide residents with healthy, nutritious and delicious meals
• Support the wider kitchen team to deliver a memorable dining experience

Required profile

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
• Some experience in a commercial kitchen (aged care experience highly regarded)
• A good range of experience with different cuisines and dietary requirements, responding to the social, spiritual and cultural needs of residents
• Great communication and documentation skills
