Part-Time Cleaner - Aged Care Facility

About the role

Aegis Aged Care is looking for a reliable, flexible and dependable person to join its team as a part-time cleaner in an aged care facility. You will help create a safe, welcoming and comfortable home for residents by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, contributing directly to their wellbeing and quality of life within a supportive team.

The facility is a 140-bed residential aged care home in Broadwater, Western Australia, offering care for both low and high care residents. It is described as a premium facility overlooking Broadwater Lake, with access to Busselton and the coast.

Required profile

• Prior cleaning experience in a health care setting.
• Full Australian working rights and ability to pass a national police clearance.
• Ideally enjoys interacting with the elderly.
• Reliable, proactive and pays close attention to cleaning details.
• Able to work effectively with minimal supervision and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Knowledge of infection control principles.
• Knowledge of commercial cleaning operations, including the safe use of chemicals.
