Part-Time Bar Attendant

About the role

The Mövenpick Hotel Hobart, a 221-room premium hotel in the heart of Hobart, is hiring a part-time Bar Attendant for its Tesoro Modern Italian Restaurant. The restaurant covers breakfast, lunch and dinner, in-room dining and conference and events, and the successful applicant joins the Food and Beverage team in a fast-paced venue.

Key responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, friendly atmosphere and deliver outstanding service to guests
• Make cocktails, spirits and mixed drinks, including creative ones
• Help other areas of the operation when needed

Required profile

• Experience as a bar attendant in a high-volume, fast-paced venue
• Knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine and beer, and what is on trend
• Ability to exceed guest expectations and a strong work ethic
• Willingness to work a rotating 7-day roster, including late nights, weekends and public holidays
• Full working rights in Australia
