Painter and Decorator

About the role

An experienced Painter and Decorator is sought on a full-time basis, based in Berrima, NSW. The role provides high-quality painting and decorating services to residential and commercial clients in the local area, covering everything from surface preparation to finishing and clean-up.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding and applying primers and sealers as required
• Apply paint, wallpaper and other decorative finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
• Complete work to a high standard, meeting client specifications and industry best practice
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment throughout the project
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly with clients
• Work collaboratively with other tradespeople and contractors as required

Required profile

• Experience as a professional Painter and Decorator
• Ability to read and interpret job specifications, plans and instructions
• Good attention to detail, strong time management and organisational skills
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Current driver's licence and reliable transportation
• Basic tools and equipment needed for painting
• Good physical health
