About the role
The Paediatric Surgical Fellow will provide high‑level clinical service in Paediatric Surgery, Burns & Trauma under senior medical supervision. The role supports evidence‑based practice, research, and quality improvement for children, young people and families.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in inpatient, outpatient and consultative clinical services.
- Contribute to after‑hours and weekend rosters (average 1:7).
- Assist in preparing and presenting Service meetings.
- Train SHOs, Residents and Interns.
- Engage in research and quality assurance programmes.
Required profile
- Commitment to evidence‑based practice, research and quality improvement.
- Willingness to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health equity initiatives.
