Paediatric Registered Nurse - Children's Ward

About the role

Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH), a major metropolitan tertiary referral hospital in Sydney, is recruiting a Paediatric Registered Nurse for its Children's Ward. The nurse delivers safe, patient-centred, evidence-informed care and works with patients, families and the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal health outcomes. The position is open to permanent full-time (38 hours per week) and permanent part-time (minimum 16 hours per week) arrangements.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised nursing care
• Collaborate with patients, families and the multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Ensure high-quality care and positive patient experiences

Required profile

• Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA)
• Able to work a 7-day rotating roster covering early, late and night shifts
• Demonstrated understanding of evidence-informed practice and critical thinking
• Full working rights within Australia
