OSHC Permanent Educator (Qualified) – Bateman

About the role

Join Junior Adventures Group as an OSHC Permanent Educator in the Bateman area, delivering engaging before‑ and after‑school care for primary‑school children. You will build lasting relationships with children, families, and the school community while supporting flexible shift patterns.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and implement fun, educational activities for children during morning and afternoon care sessions.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing environment and ensure compliance with child‑safety policies.
• Collaborate with fellow educators and school staff to coordinate program delivery.
• Provide occasional support to nearby services when additional staffing is required.

Required profile

• Genuine passion for working with children and a team‑player attitude.
• Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check and a state working‑with‑children check.
• Australian working rights and completion of National Child Safety Training before start.
• Hold or be actively working towards a WA‑recognised ACECQA qualification (First Qualified Educator or Qualified Educator).

Required skills

• Ability to design and lead age‑appropriate educational activities.
• Strong communication skills with children, families, and staff.
