OSHC Educator – Primary School Children (Part-Time)

About the role

Junior Adventures Group (JAG) is recruiting an OSHC Educator for its Helping Hands Griffin service, which supports primary school children through play in fun, engaging environments. The role suits university students, parents or anyone who needs midday flexibility, and is designed to fit around a university timetable, placements and other commitments.

Schedule: 16.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday afternoon shifts (around 2pm to 5:15pm each day).

Required profile

• Desirable but not mandatory: working towards or having completed a 1 or 2 Year Qualified Educator qualification in Queensland under the ACECQA standards.
• National Child Safety Training completed before onboarding (via Gecko).
• A genuine love for working with children.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Team player with aspirations to take on leadership opportunities.
• Valid Australian work rights.
• Holds or is willing to obtain a national police check (paid by the employer) and a state working-with-children check.

• Pay of $27-$38 per hour plus superannuation.
