OSHC Educator (Part-Time) - Robertson

About the role

Helping Hands Robertson, part of Junior Adventures Group, is looking for an OSHC Educator to support primary school children in fun, engaging environments. The role suits university students, parents or anyone needing midday flexibility, with guaranteed 15 hours per week and extra hours during school holidays.

Key responsibilities

• Work with primary school-aged children in the Morning Shift (6:30am - 9:00am, Monday to Friday) and/or the Afternoon Shift (2:30pm - 6:00pm, Monday to Friday).
• Create exciting, engaging and memorable experiences for children.
• Gain hands-on experience with children while accommodating university timetables, placements and other commitments.

Required profile

• Desirable but not mandatory: working towards or having completed a 1 or 2 Year Qualified Educator qualification in Queensland under ACECQA.
• Completion of National Child Safety Training before onboarding (via Gecko).
• A genuine love for working with children.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Team player with aspirations to take on leadership opportunities.
• Valid Australian work rights.
• Willingness to obtain a national police check (paid by the employer) and a state working-with-children check.

• Pay of $27 - $38 per hour plus superannuation.
