OSHC Educator – Duncraig Area (Qualified)

About the role

Join Junior Adventures Group as an OSHC Educator in the Duncraig area, delivering engaging before‑ and after‑school care for primary‑school children. You will build lasting relationships with children, families, and the school community while working flexible split‑shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver fun, educational activities during morning (7:00‑8:35) and afternoon (3:10‑6:00) sessions.
• Support children’s wellbeing, safety, and development in line with ACECQA standards.
• Collaborate with fellow staff and school partners to ensure smooth program operation.
• Provide occasional support to nearby services when needed.

Required profile

• Passion for working with children and a team‑oriented mindset.
• Hold or be working towards an ACECQA‑approved qualification (First Qualified Educator or Qualified Educator in WA).
• Australian working rights and willingness to obtain a national police check and working‑with‑children check.
• Completion of National Child Safety Training before onboarding.

Required skills

• Ability to create and facilitate age‑appropriate activities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of child safety and safeguarding principles.
